A working draft of how the Fractional Roster handles your data. It isn't a substitute for proper legal review before go-live, but it describes what the platform actually does today.
What we collect
The essentials to run the marketplace: your account details (name, email, role), the content you choose to publish (a consultant's profile and services, a buyer's briefs and shortlist), and the records of activity between members — intros, messages, connections and payments. Payment card details are handled by Stripe, not stored by us.
Activity & viewer analytics
We record how the platform is used so it can be run, secured and improved. This includes logging profile views, searches, and match appearances, along with request metadata (such as IP address and an anonymous session identifier) used for anomaly detection and abuse prevention. Consultants see this activity only as aggregate insight on their own dashboard — for example, how many times a profile was viewed or surfaced in a match, and the demand themes behind those searches.
Who viewed you is kept private. The identity of an individual viewer is internal to Greenlight and is never shown to other members or sold or disclosed to third parties. Consultants and buyers only ever see counts and sources, never who a specific viewer was. Access to viewer-identity data is restricted to Greenlight administrators and is itself logged.
Your dashboard & visibility controls
Your dashboard shows your own data by default. In limited circumstances — for example, to protect the marketplace from misuse — a Greenlight administrator may adjust which analytics data points are shown on an individual account's dashboard. This control affects only what an account sees about the marketplace; it never changes your underlying records, your published profile, your earnings, or your payouts. Every such change is logged.
Asking our assistant (Ava)
When our automated assistant can't answer a question, we pass it to our team so we can help and improve the assistant. If you choose to leave your email so we can reply, we use it only to come back to you about that question (our basis is legitimate interest in providing support). You don't have to leave an email, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
How we use it
To operate the roster and matching engine, process payments and the platform fee, keep the marketplace safe, and communicate with you about your account and activity. We don't sell your personal data.
Sharing
What you publish is shown to buyers for the purpose of engaging you. Beyond that, we share data only with the processors that run the service (such as our hosting, database and Stripe for payments), and where the law requires it. Contact details stay gated until an intro is released, as described in our Terms of service.
Your choices
You can edit or unpublish your profile, manage activity emails from your dashboard, and ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data. Some records tied to payments or safety may be retained where we're required to keep them.
Changes
This policy may be updated as the platform evolves. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
