Turn your LinkedIn into a profile that wins the right work
Most profiles read like a CV. We help you show the problems you solve, so buyers who describe a need are matched to you. Your first profile is free.
Upload your LinkedIn PDF and we translate it into a profile built around the outcomes you deliver, not a work history. You review and approve every word before anything goes live. One profile, free.
Buyers do not browse, they describe a need. Your profile is matched to how they ask, so the right work finds you instead of you chasing it.
Upgrade to run up to four distinct profiles, each a different offer, with the tools and training to build every one. You keep 90% of every engagement.

Questions?
Who is the Fractional Roster for?
The Roster is for experienced independent professionals with credible expertise and a clear business problem they can solve. It is not limited to fractional executives. Specialists, advisors and hands-on practitioners can join where they can demonstrate relevant experience and deliver a defined outcome.
Is this a job board?
No. Businesses do not arrive with conventional vacancies for consultants to apply for. They describe a problem, requirement or desired outcome, and the Roster surfaces experts whose services are relevant.
Do I need a defined fractional offer?
You need to explain more than your work history. A strong profile identifies the problem you solve, who experiences it, what you deliver and why a buyer should trust you. Your offer can be refined over time, but vague availability is not enough to create a useful match.
Why do you create profiles from LinkedIn?
LinkedIn provides a useful starting point for understanding your experience, but most LinkedIn profiles are written as work histories. The Roster translates that experience into buyer-facing language focused on problems, outcomes and services. You review and approve the wording before it goes live.
Can I have more than one profile?
Yes. An experienced consultant may solve several genuinely different problems. Paid members can create up to four service profiles, provided each represents a distinct offer rather than a slightly different description of the same work.
What makes a strong Roster profile?
A strong profile is specific enough for a buyer to recognise their problem. It names the situation you address, the buyer you help, the outcome you deliver and the evidence that supports your credibility. Broad claims such as “I help businesses transform” are unlikely to create strong matches.
Does joining guarantee me work?
No. Membership creates visibility, market intelligence and access to relevant opportunities. It cannot manufacture buyer demand or compensate for an unclear offer, weak evidence, unrealistic pricing or poor follow-up.
How will buyers find me?
Buyers describe what they need in their own words. Your profile is matched against the meaning of that requirement, not simply a shared title or keyword. You may therefore be surfaced for one specific service without every part of your background being shown.
Will I receive every buyer request?
No. Experts should not have to compete for every opportunity, and buyers should not be overwhelmed by responses. Opportunities are surfaced where there is a credible connection between the buyer’s requirement and the problem your profile says you solve.
Who controls my pricing and scope?
You do. You are responsible for setting appropriate fees, defining the scope and being clear about deliverables, assumptions, timescales and exclusions. The Roster is not designed to drive prices down or create a race to the cheapest bid.
What fees apply to work won through the Roster?
You keep 90% of eligible engagements transacted through the platform. Greenlight retains a flat 10% platform fee for creating the match and facilitating the transaction. Any applicable taxes, including VAT, remain subject to the agreed transaction structure and your own tax position.
What standards are expected once I am matched?
Respond promptly, qualify the requirement properly and be honest about fit, availability and capability. Do not overstate your experience or accept work you cannot deliver. Agree the scope before starting, communicate changes early and protect the buyer relationship. The quality of each engagement affects trust in the whole fractional market.
Can every expert sell services directly through the Roster?
Not currently. Direct booking is available only on selected profiles and services. Greenlight decides where this feature is enabled based on the clarity of the offer, suitability for fixed-scope delivery and confidence that the service can be delivered as described.
